Originally hailing from County Armagh, Northern Ireland, I spent a LOT of my life trying to figure out “what I wanted to be when I grew up”. I consequently moved from job to job, never being satisfied or happy and always thinking there had to be some kind of work that would feed my soul and give me true job satisfaction. Having worked at everything from Factory Worker, Petrol Station Attendant, Cleaner, Call Centre advisor, Training & Communications supervisor in a large retail chain, Activity Manager to 22 international interns in Orlando, Florida, and even a stint as a Public Servant, my attendance at a holistic health & wellbeing fair would be the catalyst for me to delve into the field of complementary and alternative therapies. Whilst at the fair, a chance meeting with 2 particular therapists, opened me up to the idea that I may in fact, have been living with depression. Although I dismissed this idea initially as nonsense, in time I came to the realisation that this was indeed true and that I had probably been living with this condition for well over 15 years. As a result of the impact from these therapists I went on to train in various complementary modalities. A Reiki & Seichem Master Trainer, Personal Empowerment & Transformation Coach, Transformational Speaker, Master Practitioner of Time Line Therapy, Neuro Linguistic Programming & Hypnosis, and certified in the Law of Attraction, I credit the world of Holistic health & Wellbeing, and understanding the connection between Mind, Body & Soul, in helping me move from a place of depression to empowerment. My name Deborah means “BEE” in Hebrew and coincidentally I believe that the humble bumble bee has a lot to teach us about personal empowerment. We have all heard the story that, for a long time, nobody could figure out how the bumblebee could fly. Given their wingspan and body weight, and using a specific type of aerodynamic theory, it was considered impossible. Luckily the bumblebee wasn’t aware of this “impossibility” and happily flew anyway. Many will say this is a myth but regardless of that, this simple story highlights the nature of what it means to be empowered – you don’t have to have everything figured out logically in order to do what you want to do or be who you want to be. When we are our true selves and act in accordance with our true nature, and when we refuse to accept other peoples limiting beliefs about us we are free to live a life without limits. As a result of my own life journey and subsequent transformation, I am passionate about helping others to remember that, they too, have all the resources within themselves to transform themselves and live their most empowered life. As a result of working with me, either one to one or in groups, attending my workshops and hearing me speak, people feel listened to, challenged and empowered to take ownership of their mindset, break through their limiting beliefs, hidden subconscious fears & emotions and become their most empowered self, thereby, transforming themselves and their lives for the better. “Who Would You BE… If You Were ALL That YOU ARE” If you would like to work with me or find out more about what I do, you can connect with me as follows.
